Notes:

Cap: orange, superficially fibrillose like H. conica.

Stem: smooth, dry, twisted, fibrillose.

Although some of the specimens showed some blackening in the field, the one taken away dried a beautiful reddish-orange.

Spores: cylindric ellipsoid to slightly phaseoliform, rarely slightly constricted, size very variable: 8.5-11.5/5.5-7µm
