Review (by Malcolm Storey) | A very detailed exposition of these small to minute cup fungi with non-hairy apothecia. A list of diagnostic features of subfamilies is followed by detailed treatment of each with indented keys to genera and to species. The species accounts at half a page or so include drawings of habitus, LS, and microscopy. List of substrates at the back. Still useful, alongside Ellis & Ellis (Land Plants) etc A companion to the Revision of the British Hyaloscyphaceae, by the same author. |
