Review (by Malcolm Storey) | The short introduction is followed by line drawings illustrating the terms used, then the glossary. This is followed by the polychotomous keys, separated into corticioids with single-celled basidia, resupinate polypores, and corticioids with septate basidia. Then follows eight pages of half-page photomicrographs illustrating many of the features. The remaining two sections, corticioids and polypores, are introduced by an orange page to more easily find them. The usual references and index complete the work. |
