Review (by Malcolm Storey) | Cycliophorans resembling S. pandora on the mouthparts of the European lobster Homarus gammarus collected in the Adriatic Sea, off tip of of the Istria Peninsula. Previously Cycliophorans have been recorded on Norway Lobsters collected in Kattegat, Denmark; near Naples, Italy; Denmark; Norway; Sweden; the Faroe Islands and North America. (Note: the Symbion on American Lobster has since been described as S. americanus and those on European Lobster are also believed to be different.) |
