Review (by Malcolm Storey) | Black-striped morphs from east coast US (coastal Maine) and the UK. Some spiders lose their black stripes before maturing. It is commoner in males than females. Care should be taken to distinguish the black morph from dark colouration in the digestive diverticulae. |
