Errata, Corrigenda & Comments | The common *Phaonia variegata* (now *P. subventa*) is best separated from the very rare *P. bitincta*, by the length of the aristal hairs being less than half the diameter of the flagellomere. (The presutural dark thoracic stripes are not as wide as given; and one mid-tibia may have the third bristle, though rarely both.) |
