Notes:

Smell: strongly mealy, more so on cutting.

Spore print: dark "clay pink" = pinkish "cinnamon"

Basidia: 4-spored.

Spores: isodiametric, rounded-polygonal, mostly appearing 5-7 sided, 8.5-9.5/6.5-8.5µm, very variable in size.

Gill edge: fertile.

Cap cuticle: filamentous, hyphae ≤5µm diam, bacteria resembling intercellular pigment (but some are clearly motile)
