Notes:
Bamboo up to 1.3m tall.
Rust hypophyllous.
Uredia and Telia present in separate patches.
Uredospores: cinnamon coloured in mass, echinulate, ovoid, some pedicellate, 24/30µm
Teliospores: 54-80/18-21µm, brown, fusiform, 1-septate, pointed or occasionally with a short beak, often with long pedicel (≤220µm)
Paraphyses: not seen.
