Long lesions on lower surface of dead leaf.
Teliospores: 54-75/15.5-20.5µm, (80-92.5(100)µm including stalk) two celled, constricted at septum, single pore in upper cell, apex blunt, 6.5-9µm thick.
Uredospores not seen.
