Cap: 50% peeling.
Stipe: bruises brownish, Fe+ brown.
Smell: none.
Gills: taste mild.
Spore print: "B"
Cap cuticle: dermatocystidia abundant, strongly staining in sulphovanillin, narrowly clavate, 1-2 septate, tip rounded, pointed or apiculate.
Spores: with 2 or 3 meshes, rounded warts c. 0.5µm high, warts of fairly even height and size.
