Notes:

Cap purplish, darker in centre.

Gills taste hot. Flesh also hot.

Spore print: pale cream (Kibby: B) in daylight.

Dermatocystidia: 0-4 septate, with occasional multi-septate vermiform elements.

Spores with complete reticulum.
