Notes:
Mycenoid.
Cap: hygrophanous, pellucid striate when moist.
Stipe: densely pilose at apex becoming less so downwards, but hairs visible for most of length; white woolly appressed tomentose at base and floccose up stipe to position where ring would be; striate in mid stipe.
Spore print: fulvous.
Basidia: 4-spored
Spores: ellipsoid-amygdaliform, pale brown under microscope, smooth,7-8.5/4.5-5µm.
Gill edge: with abundant cheilocystidia
Cheilocystidia: long necked, cylindric to capitate 2-4µm, often swollen below.
Caulocystidia: long necked, capitate.
