Notes:

5 fruitbodies growing singly and in pairs.

Ring: more pesistent than implied by Watling and Gregpory.

Basidia: 4-spored.

Spores: smooth, narrowly ellipsoid, with apical thinning but no germ pore, pale greyish brown under microscope, 7.5-9/4.5µm.

Gill edge: sterile, white granular cystidiate.

Cheilocystidia: crowded, flexuous, clavate to cylindric-capitate with round heads up to 10µm diam.

Pleurocystidia: sparse chrysocystidia (with yellow body in ammonia).
