Notes:
Stipe: with cystidia above, base marginate bulbous.
Smell: apples.
Spores: phaseoliform, 6.5-9(9.5)/4.5-5µm
Cheilocystidia: thin-walled, brown, clavate cells (up to 15µm diam) with a few capitate cells, line the gill edge.
Pleurocystidia: absent.
Basidia: without necropigment
