Notes:
Smell: strongly mealy on cutting.
Spore print: greasy, BFF: "B", non-amyloid.
Basidia: 4-spored.
Spores: broadly ellipsoid, with large oil droplet, 5-5.5/4.5µm.
Gill edge: with projecting hairs, c. 3µm diam., of varying lengths, septate, clamped, cylindric to lageniform, hyaline, often encrusted.
Cap cuticle: zebrate-encrusted, brown, septate, sparsely branched, hyphae 3-7µm diam, floating in gelatinous matrix.
