Notes:
Gill edge: concolourous.
Smell: mealy on cutting.
Spore print: dark BFF: "cinnamon"
Cap cuticle: filamentous, hyphae, 5-6.5µm diam with zebrate encrusting pigment; end cells, with vacuolar and zebrate encrusting pigment 9-15.5µm diam.
Basidia: 4-spored, clamped at base.
Spores: 9-11/7.5-8µm, mostly resting with apiculus pointing upwards.
Cheilocystidia: absent.
Despite the slightly short spores, the general appearance and colour fits this species.
