Notes:
Eggs 1mm long, white, cylindrical, winged along each side with punctate area along base of wings. 6 or 8 eggs laid side-to-side on underside of leaf. Blotch mine starts from eggs and widens across leaf. Communal larvae feed side-to-side in a row at end of mine.
Left leaf and pupariated 2 June 06. Puparia 4-4.5mm long (which is very small for a female which lays 6-8 eggs 1mm long!)
Not reared. Robbins, 1990 says this is the only leaf miner in Polygonatum, but the mine starts from a batch of eggs so it is communal from the first.
