Notes:
Mainly on leaves, where they are hypophyllous; but occasionally on petiole. Uredinia forming loose piles of uredospores. Forming a ring around a central uredinium.
Uredospores: pyriform, brown, finely echinulate, with two pores easily visible in lactophenol, 23-30/22-23µm, some with persistent stalk.
Teliospores: occasional, amongst uredospores, stalked, septate, both cells with a single pore, 43-56/19-24µm.
