Notes:
Telia: a few isolated cushions, 1 or 2 per leaf, dark brown, soft, 0.45mm diam.
Teliospores: smooth, brown, beaked to rostrate, 1-septate, 50-82/15.4-22µm, often with long (≤140µm) pedicel, some germinating (after a week in storage).
Aseptate and malformed teliospores: rare, brown, smooth, thick-walled, spherical to ovoid, 23-27/23-33µm, extreme forms approaching appearance of paraphyses.
Telial paraphyses: spathulate-tipped, almost hyaline, tips 23-26µm diam., thin-walled and tearing when mounted.
