Notes:

Thallus lobes 1-1.5mm wide, broadly channelled almost to apex where suddenly narrowed, with broad tumid ridges and shortly ciliate margins. Underside of young thallus with purplish-black towards margin.

The smaller fronds nearby are Riccia crozalsii.

Kept wet in plastic box in greenhouse until photographed: 27 Jul 2007.
