Notes: A small, delicate, pale lettuce green alga growing as vertical tufts in shallow rock pools. Cells filled with a parietal chloroplast mass, to 630µm long, becoming shorter towards branch tips: 54µm tapering to 46µm. Basal cell 620µm, without rhizoids near the holdfast. Branching distal, 1(2) branches, falcate. Some branches composed of short barrel-shaped zoidangia, which become hyaline on release of spores.
