Notes:
Cap: pale buff to pale saffron, without trace of blue. Cuticle peels easily and turns dark brick with KOH.
Stipe white, marginate bulbous; flesh tinged lilac, hardly darkening with KOH.
Basal bulb marginate, white with small chrome yellow patches, KOH reaction: dingy purple, brick or no reaction.
Gills: tinged lilac when young.
Young veil white (pinkish in basal gutter)
Spore print: BFF: fulvous
Spores: narrowly amygdaliform, apparently smooth, 9.5-11/5-6µm.
