Notes:

Cap bright orange, with filamentous cuticle which forms tiny erect scales near the centre; under the microscope composed of sausage-shaped cells with pointed ends and with yellow contents.

Spore print: BFF "Brick".

Pleurocystidia: broadly fusiform, hyaline, not hooked at apex.

Cheilocystidia: similar but of variable width.
