Notes:
Cap cuticle: filamentous, clamped, cells with pale purple contents.
Flesh: red with KOH.
Spore print: slightly dark "fulvous"
Basidia 4-spored. Spores: 12-13/(6)7-8µm., rough on outline, more strongly so at apex.
Gills with pleuro- and cheilocystidia.
