Notes:

To prevent them being washed away, Ephydra puparia have a distinctive ventral structure which grasps a plant stem.

Unfortunately a chalcid wasp emerged (noticed 17 Aug 14) so puparium not identified to species. A male Ephydra macellaria was also collected at the same small seep.
