Notes:

Spores: brown in lactophenol, with 0.5µm high flat-topped almost cylindric warts, spherical, 3.5-4µm diam. In equatorial focus the warts appear to be support a very thin exospore, just at the limit of resolution of oil immersion (there is a suggestion of this in one of the spore drawings in Pegler et al, 1995)

Capillitium: pale brown (lactophenol), solid or thick-walled with a tiny lumen, smooth to slighlty minutely granular, up to 6µm diam. Straight or with gentle bends, tapering towards ends which are more sinuous, tip c. 2.5µm.
