Notes:
The large cap measures 10cm across.
Spore print: BFF "snuff brown", darker in Melzer’s Iodine.
Cap cuticle: sparse, superficial, radiating, chains of zebrate-encrusted, round-ended, cylindric cells upto 100/5-12µm. over a gelatinous subcutis comprised of narrow, thin-walled hyphae in a gelatinous matrix.
Gill edge: gelatinised, separable, sterile, covered with cheilocystidia.
Cheilocystidia: cylindric, clamped at base.
Spores: smooth, mostly with a large oil drop, 7-8/4.5-5.5µm.
