Notes:
Spore print: BFF: "Buff", but slightly darker.
Spores: almost hyaline in water, amygdaliform, thin-walled, especially towards apex, with large oil drop, 7.5-9/5-6µm, cyanophilic.
Cap scales: tip of scale composed of loose skein of hyaline, branched, septate, clamped, fragile, filamentous hyphae 3-8µm diam. easily breaking at septa; bcoming more inflated towards base of scale (on cap) which consists of chains of inflated, broadly sausage-shaped to subglobse cells eg 40/25µm.
Gill edge: cheilocystidia; abundant, lining the gill edge, hyaline, lageniform, often with long appendage.
