Notes:

Cap wet when collected and brown, becoming pinkish brown when normally hydrated.

Spore print: white, amyloid.

Spores: smooth, hyaline, oblong, with a single oil drop, 12-14.5/7-8.5µm, slowly cyanophilic.

Basidia: 4-spored.

Gill edge: lined with cheilocystidia

Cheilocystidia: abundant, hyaline, occasional ones slightly reddish, clavate, cylindric-fusiform to -lageniform, 50/9µm.

Cap cucticle: septate, clamped, filamentous hyphae 3-7µm diam. with vacuoles.
