Notes:

Basidia 4-spored.

Spores: large, ellipsoid, 23-27/16.5-19µm, with long, cylindrical, amyloid spines up to 2µm long, and one to several large oil drops, and small, strongly amyloid, plage at base of non-amyloid apiculus. Some spores have a single large spine at the apex or are germinating. Spore wall weakly cyanophilic, contents more strongly so.

Hymenium with acanthocystidia, coralloid leptocystidia and moniliform leptocystidia.

Squash preps with many oil drops and with crystals.
