Taste: cap cuticle tastes mealy, perhaps slightly bitter.
Spore print: BFF "umber".
Spores: limoniform, pale yellowish-brown in water under microscope, slightly rough, more obviously so when mounted in Melzer’s Iodine, 12-13.5/7.5-8µm.
