Review (by Malcolm Storey) | One of the best books on the identification of our butterfllies, with (mostly) colour plates of both the upper and undersides of each sex as well as half-tone illustrations of eggs, larvae and pupae. Obviously the names are well out of date, as are the remarks about frequency and distribution, but it remains a useful reference work. |
