Notes:

Apothecia: 3-7mm. diam.

Excipulum: cellular ,

Excipular hairs: brown, multi-septate, ≤340µm, growing from pale bulbous bases.

Spores: 12.8-15/7-8µm, with 2 guttules c. 2.5µm diam, many spores dimpled on one side in Melzer’s iodine, weakly ornamented.

Paraphyses: filiform, 1.5µm diam, ends slightly swollen 2-2.5µm diam.

Ascus tip apparently not blued in Melzer’s Iodine.
