Notes:

Ascospores: eg 20/14µm, ellipsoid, smooth, mostly with one large and one small oil drop.

Asci: 8-spored, uniseriate, not bluing in Melzer’s Iodine.

Paraphyses: hyaline, cylindric, clavate tipped.

Hairs: septate, brown, thick-walled, simple, base simple, 150/15µm, also hyaline thin-walled clavate hairs forming a turf towards apothecial margin.

Marginal hairs longer, up to 7-septate, narrower, (≤350/10-12µm) in tufts:
