Notes:

Leaves stalked, toothed all round except for cuneate base.

Stem erect, with elbowed eglandular hairs.

Mature plant:

Leaves: irregularly and sparsely denticulate, not noticably hairy (shortly and sparsely so under microscope), lanceolate with base decurrent down petiole on basal leaves, but stem leaves with rounded base.

Style: cross-shaped.

Petals: faded at base (inside the vein) suggesting hybridity, as does the bushy growth form.

Upper stem with spreading glandular hairs and abundant rounded-elbowed eglandular ones.

15 July 05:

Seeds with small papillae and rounded end.

Fully fertile.
