Notes:

Most perithecia without spores, a few with immature spores.

Asci: 8-spored, with larged apical ring.

Ascospores: biseriate (obliquely overlapping), fusiform, septate.

Conidia of associated imperfect state: arcuate, hyaline, 75-80/6µm with 4-6 septa, not inflated between septa, shortly and slightly narrowing towards the rounded, pointed or beaked apex and slightly more and more gradually narrowed towards the squarish base, so that the widest point is just beyond the middle to about 2/3rds.

Conidia, but not conidiophores, staining strongly in lactophenol cotton blue.
