Notes:
Thallus of dichotomously-branched radiating lobes, with margins fimbriately lobed. Tips sometimes with rhizoids.
With well-developed cortex of a single layer of more or less square (occasionally polygonal) cells.
Photobiont: Nostoc, with some Rivularia trichomes also present but probably external.
