Notes:
Conidiomata: immersed in substrate, but raising the surface in small shiny black pimples, 0.26-0.3mm diam, which can be felt with the finger. Conidiomata evenly dispersed on pale background with no dark hyphae but sometimes with a black stromatic line at margin towards lamina of key. Conidioma becoming whitish in centre and opening by c.3-5 radial tears or centre dropping out; entire top surface eventually shed to reveal matt pale greyish-buff conidial hymenium.
A-conidia: hyaline, navicular, some waisted, 7-8/2-2.5µm, biguttulate with oil drops near (but not quite at) the ends, some conidia with additional small oil drops. Conidiophores: subulate, ≤12µm, in dense hymenium.
B-conidia: not seen, even on old conidiomata.
