Notes:

Leaf spot: commencing ellipsoid, but soon taking in midrib and then extending along it so infection front becomes triangular. Zonate, especially above, in older parts, but darker and less zonate towards infection front. Leaf distal from infection with a dark brown area, apperently killed but not infected.

Pycnidia: epiphyllous, embedded in leaf surface, mainly on pale areas of leaf-spot where they’re usually arranged in lines.

Conidia: pale olive-brown, ellipsoid or oval to slightly phaseoliform, 4.5-5.5/2.5µm.
