Notes:
Ramularia anamorph on undersides of bright rusty-brown spots on leaves.
Conidia: in chains; amygdaliform with single raised scar (terminal) or narrowly amygdaliform to fusiform with raised scars at opposite ends (intercalary). 6.5-10/15-26µm. Conidiophores: erect, septate, sparsely branched at apex, with terminal, and shortly-stalked, alternate, lateral, thickened attachment scars.
Conidia (and some conidiophores) strongly staining (especially the scars) in lactophenol cotton blue.
