Notes:

Apothecia: sessile, up to 5mm diam.

Paraphyses: filiform.

Asci: faintly blued at apex in Melzer’s Iodine.

Ascospores: 24-27/5µm, clavate.

The spores were a bit large and it was growing on Beech leaves as well as acorns and cupules, but H. fructigenus seems to be the closest.
