Notes:
On hard, decorticate branch c. 4cm diam.
The apothecia were water-logged when found, dark yellow and slightly translucent; as they dried the colour changed to pure bright yellow and opaque.
Apothecium: very shortly stalked, weakly concave to weakly convex.
Hymenium: bright yellow.
Exciple: sulphur to whitish, smooth.
Stipe: dark grey.
Asci:8-spored, narrowly clavate.
Paraphyses:filiform, dichotomously forked near base.
Ascospores:fusiform, 1-septate.
Exciple: chains of swollen cells.
