Notes:

Asci: 8-spored, tip not blued by Melzer’s Iodine.

Ascospores: spherical, smooth, 13-14µm diam., with a single large oil drop, sometimes with a de Bary bubble, often bursting with a single split like the "Pacman" symbol.

Paraphyses: cylindric, pale brownish, 3µm diam, with swollen tips up to 6(7)µm diam.

Excipular hairs: pale brownish, multi-septate, basal cell cylindric, next 1-2 cells swollen then apical 1-4 cells tapering, the final cell bluntly pointed.
