Notes:

Asci: 8-spored; apical pore stains blue in Melzer’s iodine.

Ascospores: cylindric, 15-20/6-6.5µm, with a large oil drop when young, up to 3-septate when mature and eventually with a round secondary spore at each end.

Paraphyses: cylindric, 2.5-3µm; contents hyaline below, brown towards the slightly swollen, 3µm diam. tip.
