Notes:

On moribund patches of Funaria spread over a more than 1m diam. area.

Paraphyses: septate, with granular yellow contents, narrowly clavate, apex 7-8µm wide.

Asci: 8-spored, apex not staining blue in iodine

Ascospores: broadly ellipsoid, smooth, with 1(2) large oil drop(s) and sometimes a few small ones, (16.5)20-23/13-15µm.
