Notes:
Growing with a clustered form (23 Oct 15[G]) that superficially resembles G. arenicola.
Apothecia up to 9mm diam.
Asci: 8-spored, tip not blued in Melzer’s Iodine.
Ascospores: smooth, ellipsoid, (18)20-25/10-12(15)µm, with one or two large oil drops.
Paraphyses: hyaline, slightly swollen at apex which is 5-7µm diam.
