Notes:

Marginal hairs of two types:

1. Narrow, hyaline, cylindric hyphae, 5-8µm diam., septate below, growing from swollen bases up to 12µm wide.
2. Short chains of inflated cells, 7.5-16µm wide, with sparse orange granular contents.
Paraphyses: with orange granular contents which turn greenish-grey in iodine, cylindric, forked below, tips clavate, 6-8µm wide.

Asci: 8-spored, not blued in iodine.

Ascospores: broadly ellipsoid-fusiform, 22-25/15-16µm, hyaline, usually with two oil drops, ornamented with superficial, hyaline irregular partial reticulum that is visible on outline under 100x.
