Notes:

Two mined leaves, one with a pale puparium and the other with a black one (parasitised). Both puparia are within the mine with just the spiracles protruding.

Pale puparium: female emerged - photographed 30 April 17. (It keys to Chromatomyia horticola/syngenesiae - males needed for species id).

Another mine on the same plant was collected on a later visit. A male emerged from a puparium in the mine (male seen 30 April 17) and was photographed and confirmed as C. horticola.
