There are two dark purple-brown cup fungi on fire sites.
Peziza praetervisa sensu Dennis (the commoner one, with rough spores and two oil drops) is now called P. violacea.
Dennis’s P. violacea (the rarer one, with smooth, eguttulate spores) is now P. pseudoviolacea Dondani
