Ellis & Ellis (land Plants) describe conidia as "mostly 0- or1-septate" but illustrate them as 0- to 2-septate.
There are two species of Ramularia on Primula spp.: this and R. interstitialis.
The present species causes discrete brown spots while R. interstitialis causes diffuse yellowish patches on the leaf surface.
They also differ in the conidia being 0-2 septate and 6-40/3-5µm in the present species, and 0-septate, 9-20/5-8µm in R. interstitialis.
